The Burnt Trees Project is a visual documentation of photographs, design and installation showing the lifelessness and regrowth since the 2005 fire in Kootenay National Park. The destruction along Highway 93 inspired an awareness for how interesting damaged trees could be. The images produced in our 4 season collective reveals a panorama, depictions of new growth and the surrounding landscapes.

Thanks to the organizers and everyone who came out to support us at this years Holiday Market Collective. It was great being a vendor and getting to meet so many cool and creative people. I learned a lot over the three day event and now working on new ideas to ad to the mix including the addition of new products and designs.

Dressed up as a Blue Man Group for this years Willow Park Wines & Spirits Fundraiser. There were lots of amazing costumes for the Vegas theme and over $200,000 was raised to help rebuilt pedestrian bridges after the flood. Check out More Photos from the event.

Come out on June 15th (7pm) to support Design Cause and 9 other artists at the Community Cultivated Art Auction. Twenty percent of all money raised goes to support 2 awesome Calgary charities helping to provide creative opportunities for individuals with disabilities… the rest will go to support Shawna and I on our Habitat for Humanity volunteer build in Zambia (Africa) this summer.
